What are our classes like?
You're going to love our classes and teachers! El Patio specialises in Spanish, with short courses for beginners through to proficiency. Classes are small, serious - and importantly - fun! You'll be in a group with other like-minded people who are all wanting to learn and improve.
Our Conversation Courses are the perfect opportunity to practice and consolidate what you've been learning in class or to kick-start your studies at El Patio.
LIVE and ONLINE at HOME!
In response to new requirements on social distancing, all El Patio classes have now been made into live online classes. This has been like making a brand new school! But we're so glad we did, as everyone's study experience has not been interrupted! More than that, we've discovered just how convenient and practical classes from home can be!

- relatar y relacionar acontecimientos pasados (formas y usos del pretérito indefinido)
- expresar gustos y preferencias (verbos GUSTAR, ENCANTAR, PREFERIR)
- comparar (comparaciones)
- describir objetos (pronombres posesivos)
- invitaciones, presentaciones (estar +gerundio)
- hablar de actividades de ocio
- relatar experiencias pasadas (el pretérito perfecto)
- hablar de gustos y hábitos alimenticios (algunos usos de SER y ESTAR)
- hablar de experiencias y valorarlas (usos del pretérito perfecto e indefinido)
- dar consejos, hablar de estados de ánimo, describir doleres…(verbos DOLER, SER, ESTAR)
- hablar de hábitos, costumbres y circunstancias en el pasado (pretérito imperfecto)
