What are our classes like?

Classes are fun and social, from 5 to 14 students in size and with a teacher who knows how to teach languages! You'll be in a group with other like-minded people who are all wanting to learn and improve.

Autumn Intensives, April 14-24, Melbourne (CBD) & Northcote

On offer: Elementary 1, 2 and 3 as well as 15hr Conversation courses for Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced/Superior levels over 5 dates:  April 14, 16, 20, 22, 24

And for beginners, we have the shorter 6hr Beginner Conversation course running over 3 evenings: April 20, 22, 24

The Autumn Workshops run between Terms 1 and 2 and are a great way to practise what you've learnt or a perfect way into studies!

There are discounts for early enrolment (4 weeks & 2 weeks early)

What you practise ...

  • introducing yourself and others (the verbs SER, LLAMARSE, TENER)
  • the three present tense verb conjugations: -AR, -ER, -IR
  • asking about likes and dislikes (verb GUSTAR)
  • talking about where things are (HAY, ESTAR)
  • asking for diretions (prepositions of place)
  • talking about the weather
  • expressing obligation (TENER QUE + infinitie)
  • talking about preferences (verb PREFERIR)
  • speaking about physical appearence and character
  • speaking about personal relationships (possessive pronouns)
  • speaking about habits and routines (reflexive verbs)
  • telling the time 
  • talking about food (direct object pronoms: lo, la, los, las)
  • ordering and giving information about food (verbs PONER and TRAER)
  • speaking about past experiences (pretérito perfecto)
