In the beforetime (ahem...) we used to dream about flexible study and work. Living by the beach and holding down a corporate job? As if! Only want to come in to school a few times a month? Yeah, right!
The wait is over - the future is here!
We're so excited to present our new style of class: HYBRID.
These are classes held from our centres, in which you can decide whether to participate in person or online!
I'll just repeat that... You can CHOOSE whether you come into an El Patio centre, or sit behind your laptop at home (or wherever you are!)
But how?!
Put simply: Technology!
In each HYBRID classroom, there is a video conference camera featuring a 360° Fisheye lens (so people at home can see around the whole table) This camera also has eight built-in microphones and a speaker so everyone can be both seen and heard. We then stream the Zoom meeting onto a large flat-screen TV so we can see everyone's lovely faces. The flat-screen also doubles as a whiteboard!
PHEW! Yep - we've put a lot of thought into it and already tested it on some lucky classes!
