We've been keeping a little secret, but we can't hold it in any longer...
From Term 4, 2026, El Patio Brunswick is moving into its very own home!
Since February, we've been lucky enough to call Balam Balam Place home for our Brunswick classes. It's been a wonderful place to begin our journey in the neighbourhood, and we're incredibly grateful to everyone there for making us feel so welcome.
But now, having outgrown the nest, it's time for the next chapter.
To everyone who has been one of our very first Brunswick students: ¡Muchísimas gracias! You've helped build this community from day one, and we can't wait for you to see what we've been working on.
Our new home is at 573 Sydney Rd, just near the corner of Hope Street and opposite the Sydney Road IGA. Look for the glowing "Learn Spanish" sign (coming soon!), you won't miss it.
Our new centre features three vibrant classrooms, each named after a legendary musician from the Spanish-speaking world. The paint is still drying, the finishing touches are going up, and we're busy transforming the space into something that feels unmistakably El Patio. Colourful, communal, a little bit quirky, and full of life.
The important bits:
- Brunswick classes will continue at Balam Balam Place until the end of Term 3 (Wednesday 23 September).
- From Term 4 (October 5), we'll be welcoming you to our new Sydney Road home (573 Sydney Rd, Brunswick)
- Our Northcote and Melbourne CBD centres aren't going anywhere and will continue operating from their current locations for many years to come.
This is a huge milestone for El Patio, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing students, teachers and staff. Thank you for being part of the journey with us. We absolutely can't wait to open the doors and welcome you into our new home.
